Toker not toner, oopsie. Anyway, a personal decision for you my dear but one joint at night, please don’t beat yourself up about this matter. You’re brilliant for Godsake and Creativity surrounds your essence of being. Now more pictures and less whining…joking!

Wow, firsthand, can we call it “transition” and not change?! I myself don’t believe in New Years Eve Resolutions, seriously, c’ mon. Davor, this was quite an interesting reveal, and thank you for sharing your thoughts on smoking weed or not to smoke weed…that is the question 🤣😂🤣. Well, booze is a downer and booze can ruin your life. Weed?…Unless you’re a complete no-mind idiot. I’ve been a toner since 17 years of age and reverse that number to get my current age ( until this years birthday) Darling young man, I have written some of the best songs, come up with spectacular ideas, I mean it’s endless. It may be hard to believe but I am a shy lady until I know someone well.

Thank you for your honest comment. Transition is the perfect word, I agree. Can I borrow that word from you and use it in a Notes post? :) Weed is amazing for creativity. All my boosted stories on Medium were written while high :) By the way, I’m getting ready to go to the seaside with a friend. We’re planning to take some mushrooms, and if I manage to get MDMA, even better. I believe there will be some interesting revelations, inspiring posts, and photos :)

Yes, maybe New Year's resolutions are outdated, change is timeless, in a sense pointless (at least, it doesn't happen at a single point in time), and every idea is ripening in its own speed.

Change is one of the most misunderstood elements in human life, despite that it happens all the time. We don't seem to grasp that change isn't about a decision, it is about a process. And that process happens whether we decide it or not. We may enforce it, interrupt it, or confuse it by parallel activities, but change happens – inevitably.

Sometimes, as you say, we want to see the "result" of a change faster than possible. That, by itself, is a misunderstanding, as change is continuous and has no result. It has only changing status, depending on when you look. And even that is a bit questionable, as you really should consider how big the scope of the change is:

Will the change only comprise the position of the apple, relative to the Earth? Or should the tree's situation be taken into account as well? The branch that now lifts a bit, since it no longer carries the weight of the apple – and the grass on which the apple lands, the worms that move into the apple, and the movements of the birds interested in either the worm or the apple, or both?

We tend to see elements of life in isolation, and we want them to move between two states without considering the intermediate states and all the surroundings.

That's why "change projects" in companies almost always fail. They are seen through a tunnel-vision, not taking almost everything into account, only the beginning and end points.

You made an interesting point, created a good place to start reflecting over the flow, size, and comprehension of life. Thanks for that input, and I will now keep an eye on when that apple may be considered ripe: when the decision process has moved to a tipping point. I'm sure you'll tell when it happens? ;)
